ROMEOVILLE, IL — While Columbus Day is a day off for local students, most adults will have to go to work. Here's a look at what's open and closed on Monday, Oct. 9.
Closings for Romeoville include Valley View schools and St. Andrew the Apostle school, as well as Will County offices and the courthouse. Don't expect mail delivery either, since local post offices are closed.
Columbus Day is not a New York Stock Exchange holiday, however, so most businesses will remain open, along with local libraries. Garbage pickup will also happen as usual.
