Community Invited to Inaugural Neighborhood Block Party at Senior Star at Weber Place
Day of entertainment with proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer's Association

ROMEOVILLE, IL (August 7, 2015) – Senior Star at Weber Place is excited to host its first-ever neighborhood block party from 12 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 at 605 S. Edward Drive, Romeoville.
The line-up is one for all ages with a schedule of events to include:
12-3 p.m. Car Show

12-4 p.m. Games, Face Painting, Dunk Tank, Bouncy House, Fire Trucks
2 p.m. Flipside Academy Acrobats performance

6-8 p.m. Performance by “Bossy Dog” band
Refreshments will be available for purchase at the event. In addition, attendees will be able to purchase tickets for a 50/50 raffle benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association. There is no charge to attend the event.
“We are looking forward to hosting the community for a great multi-generational summer outing,” said Tom Johnsrud, executive director at Senior Star at Weber Place. “An event with a variety of activities allows our residents, their families and our neighbors to enjoy the day together while also supporting a significant cause … the Alzheimer’s Association.”
