Construction Continues On Ovation Center In Romeoville

The project is a partnership between Senior Services of Will County and the Village of Romeoville, which began in 2019.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Progress continues on the Ovation Center project in Romeoville. In an update from the Village of Romeoville, the Village shared that construction continues on the inside of the building, which is the former Target, at 349 S. Weber Road.

Senior Services of Will County owns the property, which includes a 127,306-square-foot building.

The project is a partnership between Senior Services of Will County and the Village of Romeoville, which began in 2019. The project, which has faced construction and COVID-related delays, will include offices, an event center, a programming area, and spaces for on-site retail and services for seniors.

A groundbreaking was held for the project in 2020.

Other features of the project include: on-site medical screenings and other healthcare services, physical therapy, behavioral therapy, a café, a walking track, a ballroom, clubrooms ranging in size from 110 to 280 people, classes ranging from basic IT to low impact dance to standard home repair and beyond, a wood-working shop where seniors will be able to work on their own projects, a micro food pantry for the community, a lounge, and more.
