Distracted Driving Is Dangerous: Romeoville Police PSA
Romeoville police share video message about the dangers of distracted driving.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Nearly a week after Romeoville police shared a video message on traffic stop safety, the department is back at it with another public safety announcement. This week's video PSA reminds community members about the dangers of distracted driving.
In the clip, Romeoville Police Department Cmdr. Rob Fetzer takes us through examples of distracted driving, including a woman pretending to put makeup on, a man "trying" to pick up candy he dropped, and another man pretending to text while "driving". We're led to believe by Fetzer that the actors playing the "distracted drivers" either hit something or get pulled over by police.
The PSA aims to remind those behind the wheel that distracted driving can be dangerous - and costly- for ourselves and others.
