Drink Beer, Eat Bacon At Romeoville Fest

Annual fest returns to the Edward Hospital Athletic & Event Center.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Beer and bacon lovers rejoice! The Romeoville Beer & Bacon Festival will return to the Edward Hospital Athletic & Event Center, 55 Phelps Ave., on Friday, May 12, offering up food from 15 restaurants and 15 beer stations. In addition to beer and bacon tastings, the event will offer raffles and a "DJ playing beer drinking and bacon eating tunes," according to the website.

Tickets are $55 for general admission, which gets you entrance at 7 p.m., plus access to 15 beer stations and 15 bacon stations, 16 beer tickets, and free water and soda. VIP tickets are $95, good for early admission at 6 p.m. plus access to 15 beer stations and 15 bacon stations, 16 beer tickets, a commemorative T-shirt, a first-hour special raffle, raffle tickets, a fast past to tasting and free water and soda.

The event will have bacon stations with "fabulous chefs creating lip smacking bacon surprises and taste delights will make all you foodies happy you woke up today," organizers said, plus beers from up and coming brewers.
