Jan. 1

Alan Ely, 38, of Romeoville, was charged with obstructing identification at 10:50 p.m. in the 200 block of Fremont.

Jan. 7

Michelle Holas, 56, of Joliet, was charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 1:50 p.m. at Route 53 and Normantown.

Jan. 9

Cristina Sanchez, 19, of Romeoville, was charged with battery at 4:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of Ashbury Lane. She was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
