DUIs, Domestic Battery: Romeoville Arrests

Romeoville police reports through Sept. 7.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests over the past week, charging local residents with a variety of crimes.

Criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and all suspects defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


Juan Serna Gallegos, 31, of Joliet, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI and improper lane use on Sept. 3 at Weber and Romeo roads. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.

Cynthia Davila, 43, of Romeoville, was charged with domestic battery at 7:47 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 1100 block of Normantown Road. She was taken to Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Glenn Nowak, 55, of Joliet, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI and improper lane use at 6:21 p.m. Sept. 2 at Weber and Carillon. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.

Anthony Lackland, 43, of Joliet, was charged with improper parking on roadway, DUI, driving while license suspended and possession of adult use cannabis at 10:23 p.m. Sept. 4 at Route 53 and University Parkway. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.
