Dec. 31
Treivon Barnes, 24, of Oswego, was charged with failure to signal, cellphone use, speeding, no rear registration light, possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle and obstructing at 6:01 p.m. at Route 53 and Murphy. He was taken to Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Jan. 1
Angel Avelar, 20, of Glendale Heights, was charged with improper lane use, DUI, failure to signal and no insurance at 3:05 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Belmont Drive.

Angela Rogel, 44, of Romeoville, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, DUI, improper lane use, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and failure to provide information of an accident at 11:24 p.m. at Arlington and Kingston Drive.
