Elderly Bolingbrook Man May Have Died of Cold Exposure: Coroner
84-year-old man was found outside his home Thursday morning.

An 84-year-old man found dead outside his Bolingbrook home may have died as a result of frigid temperatures.
Claude C. Roberts was pronounced dead at 8:25 a.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Firethorn Street, according to the Will County Coroner’s office.
Cold exposure may have been a contributing factor in Roberts’ death, the coroner said.

Roberts is the second possible cold-related death in Will County this winter. A Channahon woman found dead in her garage on Jan. 5 may also have died as a result of cold exposure, the coroner’s office said.

Roberts’ death is under investigation by the Bolingbrook Police Department.
