The White Oak Library District is pleased to continue with its “Hooks & Needles” Needlecraft Club at its Lockport Branch Library.
Join us at the “Hooks & Needles” Needlecraft Club, meeting every first Wednesday of the month at the Lockport Branch Library. Bring your needlework or other craft projects to work on, and sit back and enjoy chatting and sharing skills with other "crafters."
This month, Learn to Crochet or Knit! During our January meeting, Maria, one of our members, will get you started on the “basics” of crocheting or knitting. Just bring your own yarn (4-ply) and crochet hook (Size G or Size H) or knitting needles (Size 7, 8 or 9)!
The next meeting of “Hooks & Needles” will be held at the Lockport Branch Library, 121 E. 8th St., from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April .
The club will meet in the Community Room on the main floor. Refreshments will be offered. Please Register with the Adult Services Desk.
Note: during our building renovation (February 2012 to Spring 2013), all Lockport Branch programs and services are being facilitated out of the historic Gaylord Building, 200 E. 8th St., Lockport, IL, 60441.
To register, or for further information on this FREE program, please contact the Lockport Branch Library at 815-838-0755, or check our website at www.whiteoaklibrary.org.
