Hooks & Needles to Meet at Gaylord Building

The is pleased to continue with its “Hooks & Needles” Needlecraft Club at its Lockport Branch Library.  Bring your needlework or other craft projects to work on, and sit back and enjoy chatting and sharing skills with other "crafters."

The next meeting of “Hooks & Needles” will be held at the Lockport Branch Library, meeting at the Gaylord Building, 200 W. 8th St., on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Refreshments will be offered! Please register with the Adult Services Desk.

(Note: during our building renovation (February 2012 to spring 2013), all Lockport Branch Library programs and services are being facilitated out of the historic Gaylord Building, 200 W. 8th St., Lockport, IL, 60441. For more information and parking options, call 815-838-0755.)

Anyone attending our February 8th meeting at the Gaylord Building will have a chance to win a $10 gift card to Michaels stores!

Learn to crochet or knit during our February meeting.   Maria, one of our members, will get you started on the “basics” of crocheting or knitting. Just bring your own yarn (4-ply) and crochet hook (size G or size H) or knitting needles (size 7, 8 or 9)!

UPCOMING MEETING DATES:  Wednesday, March 7, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.; Wednesday, April 4, 2 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  (These meeting will be held at the Gaylord Building.)
