Joliet Regional Job Fair

Joliet Junior College will host its 13th Annual Joliet Regional Job Fair on Thursday, April 12, from 2 to 5 p.m. on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet. 

Job seekers will have the opportunity to network with 40 employers seeking new candidates for full and part-time employment as well as internship and volunteer positions.  Positions available range from general labor to nursing to forensic specialist.  Come prepared for on-the-spot interviews, dress professionally and bring 20 to 30 copies of a resume.

In addition to the fair, a “Making the Most of the Job Fair” presentation will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the college’s Fine Arts Theatre. The presentation will help job seekers successfully navigate the job fair and better communicate with employers, JJC Director of Career Services Bridgette Larkin-Beene said.

“We are excited to host the Joliet Regional Job Fair, and connect employers from a variety of industries to job seekers from our district,” said Larkin-Beene. “Ensuring that job seekers are prepared is a priority.  We will offer numerous workshops, events and resources to help each job seeker succeed.”
