Lewis Choir to Perform Russian Music at Lockport Church

The Lewis University Choir will perform at 1:30 p.m. on May 1 at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, 312 E. 11th St., Lockport. Admission to the concert is free.

The program will feature Russian music under the direction of Dr. Lawrence Sisk, professor of music at Lewis University.

The Lewis University Choir comprises students, faculty, staff and members of the community. The 32-voice choir specializes in a cappella sacred music ranging from medieval plainsong and Renaissance polyphony to music of living composers.
