Lewis University’s will host a performance by the MAVerick Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. on March 12 in the Philip Lynch Theatre located on the university’s main campus in Romeoville. The cost of admission is $10.
The MAVerick ensemble is dedicated to the performance and presentation by composers, artists, and filmmakers of the past 50 years. This performance will include music composed by legendary George Crumb and award winning Chen Yi. Known for its bold programming and its exceptional performances, the ensemble presents concerts of experimental music designed to engage, entertain, and inform the audience.
This event is being presented as a part of Lewis University’s Arts & Ideas Program, providing cultural and educational programming for students and the community. A portion of the Arts & Ideas events is sponsored by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
