'Medieval Meals' Rescheduled at Lockport Library

The 's "Medieval Meals" program, postponed due to a storm-related power outage, has been rescheduled at the district's Lockport branch.

As part of the adult reading program, chef Michael Niksic will prepare Medieval Meals, a sampling of traditional Medieval fare including blancmange, medieval meat stew served on a trencher and a dessert of honey apples. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 25, in the Community Room at the Lockport branch, 121 E. Eighth St.

Guests are invited to enjoy the castle display and a knights diorama encompassing an entire banquet table. Medieval banners and decorations add to this festive occasion.
