Metropolitan Youth Symphony Presents Fall Concerts

The Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) will present two concerts in October.

The first is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Sancta Alberta Chapel at , 1 University Parkway in Romeoville. The second show is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, in the Fine Arts Auditorium at Joliet Junior College, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.

Lewis Professor of Music Dr. Lawrence Sisk will conduct the orchestra in an all-Scandinavian concert. The progream features Daniela Broderick, professor of piano at JJC, as soloist in the "Grieg Piano Concerto." Other works being performed include "Finlandia" and "Peer Gynt Suite."
