Senior Star at Weber Place Sponsors Brain Alive Event

Public Invited to Attend Pilot Partnership with Marbles the Brain Store

ROMEOVILLE, IL (June 16, 2011) – Senior Star at Weber Place will host a Brain Alive event on Monday, June 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 605 South Weber Road, in conjunction with Marbles the Brain Store in Naperville.  This free event, which is open to the public, will feature a short presentation followed by an interactive evening of playing games that work to stimulate communication and cognitive functions in older adults. 

“As innovators in memory care we are thrilled to begin a partnership with Marbles the Brain store,” said Trish Uttich, executive director of Senior Star at Weber Place.  “We are always looking for quality collaborations that provide brain health for our residents and the community.  The services at Weber Place are not cookie cutter; and bringing fun, innovative and effective resources to our residents is integral to the aging process.  We hope this event will be the first in a long series of unique cognitive programs offered at Weber Place, and we are pleased to have a quality organization like Marbles the Brain Store partner with us.”
