
Little Hands Big Hearts Presents Summer Fest August 20th at Lewis University

Little Hands Big Hearts is hosting the summer event of the season! It's the 2nd annual Summer Fest, a fun filled day of festivities, eating, dancing and music to be held on Saturday, August 20th from noon until 9:00 p.m., rain or shine, on the campus of Lewis University, 1 University Parkway, Romeoville. Activities for young and old include children's games, jumpy houses, contests, prizes, crafts, slides and more all day. The Concert in the Park begins at 2 p.m., featuring three of Chicagoland's favorite bands, Brewster Creek, Tut & the Blues Kings and Dancing Noodles. There will be food, cold beverages and beer for sale. "We're going to have a lot of fun", said Ed Prodehl, owner of Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell, "while raising much needed funds for those in our communities who need help."

All Summer Fest proceeds will benefit Little Hands Big Hearts, a non-profit charity serving as a beacon of hope for children who are in need of medical care and whose parents or guardians are financially unable to provide proper treatment.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults 21 and over, $5 for young adults 16-21, children under 16 are admitted free with parents. Tickets may be purchased in advance at any Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell Real Estate office or can be purchased at the gate. Local offices are located at 22 E. Merchants Dr., Oswego; 928 N. Noon Walk With Ellie
Summer Fest ribbon cutting and walk to raise awareness of childhood cancer. Ellie is a brave little 7 year old who was diagnosed with a brain tumor and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Noon - 9 p.m. Food, drinks & beer garden
12:30 - 3:30: Children's' games, Sparkle the Clown, Jumpy Houses
2 p.m. Brewster Creek
4 p.m. Tut and the Blues Kings
6 p.m. The Dancing Noodles
