Fake Car Theft Report: Romeoville Arrests

A roundup of recent arrests made by Romeoville police.

John Bergel, 30, of the 700 block of Farragut Avenue, was arrested July 5 on a charge of making a false report of vehicle theft.

Matthew Ferrari, 50, of the 200 block of Spangler Road, was arrested at 8:04 p.m. June 23 in the area of Belmont and Murphy Drive on a charge of battery.

John Wilson, 21, of the 20000 block of West Bloomfield Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. June 27 in the 1000 block of West Romeo Road on a charge of criminal damage to state supported property.

James Haas, 57, of the 200 block of Picardy Lane, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12: 48 a.m. June 26 in the area of Bluff and Joliet roads on charges of DUI, disobeying a traffic sign and driving in the wrong lane.

Oliver Bonifaz, 44, of the 24000 block of Leski Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 1:51 a.m. June 28 in the area of Chamberlain and Lakeview on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to report an accident, failure to give information and illegal use of a cell phone.

Allen Hoard, 18, of the 1600 block of Watercrest Court, was arrested at 7:09 a.m. June 28 in the 1600 block of Airport Road on a charge of criminal defacement of property

Fabian Mariscal, 18, of the 1000 block of Princeton Drive, was arrested at 7:09 a.m. June 28 in the 1600 block of Airport Road on a charge of criminal defacement of property.
