Final Plans For New Starbucks Approved In Romeoville

Officials said construction should begin by the end of the month.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Final development plans for a new Starbucks in Romeoville were approved by the Romeoville Village Board at its Wednesday meeting.

The 2,300-square-foot building will be located at 470 N. Independence Boulevard, officials said. Currently, the property is a vacant lot next to Joe's Beverage Warehouse, near Romeo Road and Route 53.

The plans call for an indoor seating area, outdoor patio, and a drive-thru. There will also be 35 parking spaces, and the sidewalk on Route 53 will be extended in front of the new property.
