Race, Dance Party Kick Off RomeoFest

ROMEOVILLE, IL — This year's RomeoFest will kick off with a one-mile "Food Fest" race, dance party and concert from local band 7th Heaven on Thursday, Aug. 3, at Deer Crossing Park, 1050 W. Romeo Road. Participants must register by July 24, and registration is limited to the first 250 people. Runners are asked to check in no later than 5:30 p.m., and heats begin at 5:45 p.m.

Participants receive a T-shirt (size not guaranteed), three RomeoFest food samples, a drink (soda, beer or water) and a finisher award. The registration fee is $20 for adults and $15 for participants age 20 and younger. The fee increases by $5 on race day, provided spaces are still available.
