Hair Extensions Worth $185 Stolen: Romeoville Blotter

Incidents occurred between Dec. 30 and Jan. 12

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 30

Guadalupe Arias-Reyes, 41, of the 200 block of Fremont, was charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance, driving too fast for conditions, leaving the scene of a crash and failure to give information. The arrest occurred at Route 53 north of Airport Rd.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Naperville. Someone entered a trailer and took automotive parts and tires. Estimated cost of items taken and to repair damage to trailer is $3,500.

A retail theft was reported in the 300 block of South Weber Road. Someone took several purses valued at a total of $289.97 from the business.

Dec. 31

Oscar Andrade-Delgado, 21, of the 5900 block of S. Sacramento in Chicago, was charged with no valid driver’s license, speeding and no insurance. The arrest occurred at Taylor east of Paragon.

Jan. 3

Mariah Stafford, 18, of the 200 N. Prairie in Whitewater, Wisc., was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of S. Weber Rd.

Jan. 6

Two 14 year olds were arrested for public fighting in the 700 block of Normantown Road.

A theft of motor vehicle parts was reported in the 1200 block of Naperville Drive. Someone took catalytic converters from vehicles parked in the lot. The parts are valued at $3,834.32.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 1600 block of Ashbury Lane. Sunglasses, a GPS and change were taken by someone from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated value of the items taken is $410.

Jan. 7

Jamel Howard, 28, of the 300 block of Whitewater Dr. in Bolingbrook, was charged with driving while license suspended, improper lighting and and an in-state warrant. The arrest occurred at Normantown near Crossroads.

Ebelin Flores, 23, of the 200 block of Hayes, was charged with driving while license suspended and disobeying a crossing guard. The arrest occurred at Eaton and Murphy.

Jan. 8

Kerry London, 21, of the 14000 block of Lakeridge Dr. in Plainfield, was charged with aggravated battery. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of Haller.

Jacqueline Raleigh, 26, of the 400 block of Berkshire Ave., was charged with no valid driver’s license, failure to yield and hit and run. The arrest occurred at Route 53 south of Romeo Rd.

A retail theft was reported in the 300 block of South Weber Road. Someone took hair extensions valued at $185.98 from the business.

Jan. 9

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Julia Drive. Someone took an iPod, remote controlled toy and a hand tool from two vehicles at the residence. Estimated value of the items taken is $1,190.

Jan. 11

A theft over $500 was reported in the 1200 block of Naperville Drive. Unknown person(s) took a railcar chassis and container from the parking lot of the business. Total value of the items taken is $15,000.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Haller Avenue. Someone took a wallet from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence.

Jan. 12

Stephen Symons, 32, of the 1000 block of San Mateo Dr., was picked up on an in-state warrant. The arrest occurred at Route 53 and Material Dr.
