Inaugural 'Dive-In Movie' Planned At Romeoville Aquatic Center

ROMEOVILLE, IL — You've heard of going to drive-in movies, but what about dive-in movies? The latter's first of its kind in Romeoville is planned for Friday.

The Romeoville Aquatic Center, 630 Townhall Drive, will host the event, which includes swimming and a movie. The feature screening is the 2023 live-action remake of "The Little Mermaid."

Open to anyone, the dive-in movie is planned from 6-9 p.m. Registration, which is required, includes a $10 fee for Romeoville residents and an $18 fee for non-residents. Walk-in registrations on the day of the event will be permitted.

Floatation rafts will be provided.
