Injured Dog's Owner Located: Romeoville PD
Police were trying to find the owner of the dog in the photograph.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — After asking residents for help tracking down the owner of a dog that was struck by a vehicle Monday night, Romeoville police said the pet's owner was found on Tuesday.
Police shared a photo of the dog on Twitter, saying the pet was taken to a local veterinarian for treatment, but authorities had not been able to track down its owner.
"Unfortunately the below pictured dog was struck by a car on Weber Rd @ South Carillon at just before 7pm tonight," police wrote. "We transported her to a vet for treatment, but we cannot locate the owner. Female Husky mix with no collar. Please Retweet. Contact RPD 815-886-7219."

On Tuesday, police shared an update: "The dog's owner has been located. Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out!"
