Lucy and Ethel Looking for a Home Together

Animals available at the Romeoville Humane Society.

Lucy and Ethel are closely bonded litter mates that will greatly benefit if they are adopted together; they are looking for a loving family who wants to nurture two sweet and gentle girls and let them settle in to a comfortable home. Lucy is the bolder of the two – she is more curious and comes around quicker, wanting to explore her surroundings. Ethel is the shyer of the two – she follows Lucy’s lead and only proceeds when Lucy gives her the A-OK to do so. Both are still skittish and hesitant with new people, and sudden movements and loud noises scare them, but gentle TLC and a little bit of patience will help these girls trust their people and give back the love they receive. They have progressed nicely in their foster home, but now it is time for a permanent home. If you are a lover of cats who understands some just need a little time and patience, open your heart to Lucy and Ethel.

Lucy and Ethel’s adoption fee is $300 for the pair which includes spay, rabies and distemper vaccines, FIV, Feline Leukemia and fecal tests, and microchipping. Contact the Romeoville Humane Society at 877-813-7300 or romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to inquire about adoption.
