2 Suspects Sought In Shooting After Drug Deal Turns Violent: Police
Robbery setup: Police said 2 teens shot the victim during an attempted robbery.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Romeoville man was shot after arranging a drug buy that went bad Wednesday in Lockport, the Will County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies who were called to the scene found the 22-year-old sitting in his vehicle, bleeding. Spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer said the man was conscious and alert, and told police he was shot after arranging a drug deal in Lockport's Fairmont area.
The man arrived at the Lockport home at around 12:45 p.m. and an unknown man got into his vehicle and pulled a gun during an attempted robbery, police said. Hoffmeyer said the victim began to drive off, and the suspect shot him in the upper right arm before jumping out of the vehicle.
"Apparently it was a set-up" involving two suspects, Hoffmeyer said. Both suspects are described as black males around the age of 17 to 18. One is described as about 5-foot-6 and 120 pounds with dark skin and no facial hair. The other suspect is described as 6-foot-2 and 150 pounds, with a medium complexion and a light mustache, Hoffmeyer said.
