'Mary Poppins' to Fly Onto Bolingbrook Stage

Production includes past, present and future students from Romeoville and Bolingbrook.

Just a spoonful of sugar (and 53 current or former Valley View School District 365U students) will help make the medicine go down a little easier on weekends from July 10 to 26 when Theatre on the Hill presents the Broadway musical “Mary Poppins.”

Produced and Directed by Michael A. Fudala, the curtain goes up at 8:30 p.m. July 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25 and at 7:30 p.m. July 12, 19 and 26 at the Bolingbrook Performing Arts Center, 375 W. Briarcliff.

VVSD alumni participating include: Sharon Michalak Bolingbrook High School class of 1988; Kristina Parro BHS class of 2011; Brandon Januska BHS class of 2013; Jeffrey Burke, Jonathan O’Brien, Trent Ederle, Emily Coronado, and Caleb Hand BHS class of 2014; and Brianna Thompson and Andrea Cline, BHS class of 2015.

Current Romeoville High School students participating include class of 2019 members Bryan Croce and Harley Worcester.

Future Bolingbrook High School students participating including Kloe Walters, Shane Frantz, Kelly McNulty, Gracie Avery, Chase McNulty, Katherine Karafotias, and Summer Jarka.
