New Avenue Closed At 135th Street: Avoid The Area

ROMEOVILLE, IL — New Avenue at 135th Street will be closed for roughly three hours as crews repair a pipe. The Village of Romeoville issued an alert on the road closing at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

"New Avenue is closed northbound at 135th Street in Romeoville andsouthbound from Lemont," according to the alert.

The Romeoville Emergency Management Agency was asking drivers to avoid the area and find a different route.
