New Popeyes Coming to Romeoville

Part of many construction projects underway in Weber Road Corridor

Romeoville continues to see new ground up construction, despite the current environment. Popeyes has submitted a concept plan for a new restaurant along Weber Road in front of Blain’s Farm & Fleet. The building will be 2,300 square feet and have a parking lot for 30 cars.

“We look forward to working with Popeyes to bring this new development to Weber Road,” said Mayor John Noak.

Popeyes will join two other ground up construction projects currently in that corridor. An urgent care facility is nearing completion and a Jiffy Lube is underway. The village also recently approved the Seasons of Romeoville, a Class A rental community, just south of Blain’s. The village anticipates further new developments throughout the community over the next few months.
