The Northern Will County Special Recreation Association (NWCSRA) has benefitted from the dedicated work of Cathy Davis for almost 28 years.

The Northern Will County Special Recreation Association (NWCSRA), formerly Tri-County SRA, has benefitted from the dedicated work of Cathy Davis for almost 28 years. She was recognized at last night’s Village Board meeting as she prepares to step into semi-retirement, choosing to stay with the organization on a part-time basis.

“Cathy Davis is the type of person every community hopes to have,” praised Mayor Noak. “We greatly appreciate her dedication and the work she has done with and for the children, teens, and adults with special needs here in northern Will County.”

From purchasing their current building on Montrose Drive to re-organizing the association, the current executive director has developed and implemented numerous programs, taken participants on trips all around the world, organized countless fundraisers, and truly touched the lives of everyone at the agency.
