Pedestrian Killed In Crash Thursday ID'd As Romeoville Woman: Coroner

The crash happened Thursday evening at Route 53 and Alexander Circle in Romeoville.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A pedestrian killed in a crash on Thursday evening in Romeoville has been identified as Kimberly Glista, 50, of Romeoville, the Will County Coroner's Office said.

Glista was pronounced dead at 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, after a crash at Route 53 and Alexander Circle in Romeoville, the coroner's office said.

The Romeoville Police Department is investigating the incident. Police said further details on the crash will be released Friday.

In a news release on Thursday, police said officers responded to a crash at 8:05 p.m. near the intersection of Independence Boulevard and Alexander Circle. Roads were closed for several hours for crash investigation.
