The Plainfield Firefighters/Paramedics Local 4560 is proud to announce endorsements for the April 7 consolidated election. The candidates were all carefully considered by our membership based on their positions on the following topics important to our core values of public safety:
- Commitment to quality community service and public welfare
- Understanding of the needs of our growing community

After discussion and deliberation regarding the issues relevant to Plainfield and its future growth, we support the following candidates:
Plainfield Fire District Trustee Tom Paul
Mr. Paul brings a genuine desire to contribute to the public good through service as a trustee for the Fire Protection District. As a former firefighter and longtime resident, his commitment to the District and the community are second to none. In addition, his professional background outside of the fire service affords him a breadth of experience which we feel will be an asset to both our organization and to the citizens it protects.

Mark Reynolds
Mr. Reynolds has served this community throughout his professional life. As a career firefighter, he has risen through the ranks and understands every facet of our growing organization, and the needs it has both now and for the future. As such, he is well-suited to provide responsible stewardship of the public trust in our community.
Village of Plainfield Trustee Mark Allan Chmura
Mr. Chmura is willing to work with all levels of government, and opposes initiatives which would undermine the needs of our Fire District as it provides for public welfare and safety.
“We are confident that the residents of Plainfield can place their trust in Tom Paul, Mark Reynolds, and Mark Chmura to be responsible in their decisions and to support the needs of the community,” Ryan Johnson added. “We encourage all residents to vote on April 7; every vote counts in the future of your community.”
