Plainfield Man Dies in I-55 Crash in Bolingbrook
Another man from Justice was also killed in the crash.

Two men were killed in a crash on I-55 in Bolingbrook at around 2:50 a.m Saturday morning, according to the Illinois State Police.
Daniel Zamora, 20, of Justice and formerly Plainfield, and Ariel Dorado, 25, of Plainfield, were pronounced dead by the Will County Coroner’s Office at 4:21 a.m. on I-55 at mile post 265 Saturday, August 8 in Bolingbrook.
Dorado was driving a 2004 Dodge Stratus traveling south in the northbound lanes when he crashed into a 1998 Acura driven by Zamora. Zamora was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.

The wrong-way, two-vehicle crash closed northbound lanes on I-55, which have since reopened. During the investigation, traffic was diverted onto I-355.
The ISP is still investigating the incident. There is no information on why Dorado was traveling the wrong way and police do not yet know if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
