Recreation Center Gets a Spring Spruce Up

The Romeoville Recreation Center will be getting an upgrade, installing 3,250 square feet of new flooring in the Fit 4 Life Fitness Center.

The Romeoville Recreation Center will be getting an upgrade, installing 3,250 square feet of new flooring in the Fit 4 Life Fitness Center. It will replace the well-worn flooring that currently occupies the space. They will also be giving the outside of the building a thorough power washing and painting. This will eliminate years of accumulated dust from the nearby ball fields as well as weather related fading and damage.

“We are tremendously proud of our Recreation Center,” said Mayor John Noak. “This is some upkeep that was needed to keep the facility looking good and up to date. The new flooring is actually designed for sports and workout equipment.”

Fit 4 Life will be closed during the floor installation process (April 30 – May 8), but the new surface is sure to be appreciated by gym members throughout the community.
