Romeoville Approves New Playground For Century Park

ROMEOVILLE, IL — At its Wednesday meeting, the Romeoville Village Board approved a proposal for the purchase of playground equipment for the Century Park redevelopment project.

According to the Village, the playground at the park, 1475 W. Taylor Road, is 22 years old. The projected completion for the new park is May 2023.

The playground is for ages 2-5 and 5-12, Director of Parks and Recreation Kelly Rajzer said during the board meeting Wednesday.

The board approved a proposal from Cunningham Recreation, at a cost of $98,721.97.
