A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of cannabis on the 300 block of Eaton.

July 19

Jasmine Benitez, 18, of the 20900 block of W. Boulder in Plainfield, was charged with retail theft.

July 21

Todd Andrews, 52, of the 400 block of Julia Dr. in Romeoville, was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to property and attempted delivery of alcohol to minors.

July 22

Shannon Hickman, 34, of the 13300 block of Meadow Ln. in Plainfield, was charged with retail theft.

July 23

A theft under $500 was reported in the 1800 block of Lake Shore Drive. Unknown person(s) took the license plates from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. The license plates are valued at $120.

A theft under $500 was reported in the 200 block of Robbin Drive. Unknown person(s) took two packages that had been delivered to the residence. Total value of the items taken is $60.83.

July 25

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Gorman. A laptop, laser measure and bottle of cologne were taken from the unlocked vehicle by unknown person(s). Estimated value of the items is $540.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Violet Drive. Two basketballs were taken by unknown person(s) from the open trunk of the vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. The basketballs are valued at $100.

July 27

A theft under $500 was reported in the 200 block of Haller Ave. Unknown person(s) took the rear license plate from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. The license plate is valued at $100.
