Romeoville Blotter: Retail Theft, Possession of Cannabis

Incidents occurred between Oct. 19 and Nov. 2.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

Oct. 19

Jyloni Branch, 26, of the 240 block of Oak Creek Ln., was charged with possession of cannabis and disobeying traffic signs. The incident occurred on the 1200 block of W. Normantown Rd.

Oct. 30

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with battery on the 0-100 block of Elgin.

Oct. 25

A criminal damage to property was reported in the 700 block of Belmont Dr. Someone using a paintball gun damaged the siding of a residence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $50.

Oct. 26

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Dollinger Drive. Someone broke a window on a vehicle. It appears nothing was taken from the vehicle. Estimated cost to repair the window is $200.

Oct. 30

A theft under $500 was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeside. Someone removed a license plate from a truck that was parked at the business.

A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 200 block of Healy. Someone spray painted a fence. Estimated cost to remove the graffiti is $50.

Oct. 31

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with violating curfew, illegal consumption of alcohol and obstructing an officer. The incident occurred at Fair Meadows at Grand Blvd.

Two teens were arrested for retail theft in the 300 block of S. Weber Rd.

Nov. 1

Lisa Jordan, 47, of the 400 block of Romeoville, was charged with retail theft and possession of drug equipment on the 400 block of S. Weber Rd.

Nov. 2

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct on the 0-100 block of Elgin.
