Romeoville Blotter: Retail Theft, Vehicle Burglaries
Incidents occurred between Sept. 21 and Oct 5.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
Sept. 21
Demetrius Mason, 23, of the 1600 block of Union Ave. in Bolingbrook, was charged with no valid driver’s license and failure to reduce speed.

Sept. 22
Jennifer Abbott-Bell, 39, of the 900 block of N. Edgewater Lane in Shorewood, charged with retail theft.

Sept. 27
Jesus Mena, 23, of the 300 block of Dartmoor in Romeoville, was charged with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and use of unsafe tires.
Oct. 3
A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1800 block of Winding Ridge Court. Someone took a purse from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. The purse was later recovered but credit cards were missing from it.
Oct. 4
Two 16-year-old juveniles were arrested in the area of 200 South Oak Creek Lane for numerous burglaries to motor vehicles.
Oct. 5
Two 17-year-old juveniles were arrested in the area of 400 Clifton for burglary to motor vehicle.
A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 0-100 block of Canterbury Trail. Someone took a wallet valued at $200 from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence.
