Romeoville Cops Team With Jersey Mike's For Day Of Giving

All proceeds will benefit Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Chow down on a tasty sub sandwich and help a great cause on Wednesday, March 28 as part of Jersey Mike's Day of Giving. This year, Romeoville police will be joining with the restaurant, 412 S. Weber Road, to support the event, with 100 percent of proceeds from purchases going to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago.

How does it work? Just head to the Romeoville Jersey Mike's from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 28 and buy a sub to support the cause. All proceeds from every single sale will go to local charities, whether you buy a sub sandwich, chips, drinks or a catering order.

The event is part of Jersey Mike's "Month of Giving," which benefits charities across the country.

"More than 1,360 Jersey Mike’s locations across the country are joining forces with more than 170 local charities for the company’s 8th Annual Month of Giving fundraising campaign," the company said. "Last year’s Month of Giving raised more than $5.5 million for local charities nationwide, and this year Jersey Mike’s wants to break last year’s record-setting total."

The monthlong campaign culminates in the March 28 Day of Giving this year. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised more than $28 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 2 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
