Romeoville Cops, Walgreens Host Drug Dropoff on Saturday
Get rid of unwanted medications from noon to 4 Saturday.

ROMEOVILLE, IL -- Walgreens and the Romeoville Police Department will partner for a prescription and over-the-counter drug take-back program. From noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, residents can drop off unwanted or expired medications to the Romeoville police at Walgreens, 347 N. Independence Blvd. All items will be processed and destroyed, police said.
Due to regulations, items including any needles (sharps), inhalers, aerosol cans, ointments, lotions or liquids cannot be accepted.
