Romeoville Ecology Club Seeking Gently Used Clothing, Household Items

In recognition of America Recycles Day, the Martinez Middle School Ecology Club is sponsoring a collection drive of gently used clothing and household items from Nov. 9 through Nov. 13.

The Club will be reimbursed by a national thrift store chain at a rate of 20 cents per pound of soft goods (clothing, towels, sheets, accessories, etc.) and 5 cents per pound for hard goods (small electrical items, toys, kitchen items, jewelry, books, sports equipment). The money will be used to fund the club’s work.

Items should be dropped off at the school’s front office located at 590 Belmont in Romeoville.
