Romeoville Founder's Day Parade Steps Off Sept. 17

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Romeoville's annual Founder's Day celebration is quickly approaching, with the Founder's Day parade set to step off at 2 p.m. on Sept. 17.

This year's theme is "peace, love and happiness," according to the Village website. The parade begins at the recreation center, 900 W. Romeo Road.

If you'd like to participate in the parade, you can apply online by Aug. 25. Late applications won't be accepted, the Village said.

The parade will start at the corner of Newland Avenue and Belmont Drive, and end in Uptown Square. A full route will be shared once it is finalized, according to the Village.
