Romeoville High School Students Appointed To Village Commissions
Student appointees are Daniel Myers for Planning and Zoning, and Alaina Moreno for Conservation and Sustainability.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — At its Wednesday meeting, the Romeoville Village Board approved appointing Romeoville High School student members to its conservation and sustainability commission, and its planning and zoning committee.
The Village said on its Facebook that it appoints a student to its planning and zoning commission every year, and this year, a student was also appointed to the conservation commission.
"This provides a tremendous learning environment for a student to see how local government works," the Village said.
