Romeoville Knights of Columbus Donate $2,700 to VVSD Children

Even as they prepare for their 45th annual Tootsie Roll fundraiser, the Romeoville Chapter of the Knights of Columbus presented $2,700 from last year’s fundraiser to six Valley View School District 365U schools Monday night.

Recipients included Irene King, Hermansen, Skoff and R.C. Hill elementary schools, Valley View Early Childhood Center and Martinez Middle School.

The Knights of Columbus would welcome volunteers to help collect donations at the next fundraiser which will be Sept. 18-20. Please contact Gary Hoffman at 630-408-5492 or Gary_Hoffman@live.com.

All money collected goes to help students and adults with intellectual disabilities.
