Romeoville Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

A 48-year-old Romeoville man died Monday from injuries sustained in a Saturday motorcycle crash, according to a release from the Lee County Sheriff’s Department.

Juvencio Jaquez was pronounced dead at 2:22 Monday at Rockford Memorial Hospital.

According to the release, Jaquez was driving on LaMoille Road in Sublette at about 5 p.m. Saturday when he went off a curve and into a field. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The incident is still under investigation.
