Romeoville Man Might Have Intentionally Crashed Car into House: Police

Police are investigating after a 62-year-old man drove his car into several other vehicles and a house Tuesday night.

Tinley Park police are investigating after a man is believed to have intentionally slammed a car into a home Tuesday night.

The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, reportedly struck several cars and a house in the 18100 block of Mager Drive. An order of protection, issued Feb. 1, prohibits the man from being at the house. The man had been previously arrested for domestic-related issues, according to a release from the Village.

Upon arrival, police discovered that no one in the house was injured. The Tinley Park Fire Department extricated the lone occupant of the vehicle, a 62-year-old Romeoville man, who was transported to Christ Hospital with serious injuries.

An order of protection, issued Feb. 1, prohibits the man from being at the Mager Drive address. The Tinley Park Police Department has previously arrested the man for domestic-related issues.

The driver remains at Christ Hospital under police guard, and charges are pending.
