Romeoville Manufacturers Alliance Launched By Chamber Of Commerce

The inaugural meeting is scheduled for June 18 at the Village Hall.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the introduction of the Romeoville Manufacturers’ Alliance, the organization shared in a news release.

In collaboration with partners including the Village of Romeoville, Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center, Illinois Manufacturers’ Association, Workforce Services Division of Will County, and Joliet Junior College, this alliance has been formed to support manufacturers through a collaborative partnership.

“We are proud to be a part of this collaborative effort with the Chamber of Commerce to support our local manufacturers. This is a great opportunity to connect manufacturing leaders with state organizations and share best practices,” Village Manager Dawn Caldwell said in a release.

The inaugural meeting is scheduled for June 18 at the Village Hall.

According to the Chamber, this gathering will serve as a platform for industry leaders, workforce experts, and manufacturing stakeholders to convene and address the pressing issues and emerging trends within the manufacturing sector. During this session, panelists will share valuable insights and innovative strategies aimed at optimizing resources, fostering workforce development, and driving sustainable growth within the manufacturing industry.

“The Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce acknowledges that the resources and benefits required by manufacturers are unique compared to those offered through its general membership benefits. We have forged this collaborative partnership with the primary aim of listening to manufacturers, understanding their current challenges, and developing tailored support to address their needs,” Mary Kay Campbell, CEO/President, said in a release.
