Romeoville Police Arrest Man On DUI No. 8
Most of Eastman's DUI arrests have been in Will County.

JOLIET, IL - A 54-year-old man from Clarendon Hills remains locked away from society inside Will County's Jail after Romeoville Police arrested him on charges of eighth offense drunken driving. The criminal complaint at the Will County Courthouse states that Timothy Eastman was under the influence of alcohol as he drove a Chevrolet Silverado on Sherwood Court in Romeoville on Sunday.
After his arrest, Romeoville Police delivered Eastman to the Will County Jail late Sunday afternoon, around 3:40 p.m. He remained there as of Thursday night. A judge set his bail at $350,000, meaning Eastman needs to come up with $35,000 cash to post bond.
The Will County State's Attorney's Office has charged Eastman with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence, both Class X felonies, and two counts of aggravated driving under the influence, Class 4 felonies.

According to this week's proceedings, the Will County Public Defender's Office accepted the appointment of representing Eastman as his criminal case proceeds at the courthouse in Joliet.
According to court documents, the prosecutors convinced the judge to set a stiff bail, in the amount of $350,000. As for Eastman, the judge announced that he must maintain absolute sobriety and the only opportunity he will have to consume alcohol is "for religious purposes," court records.
He will also be mandated to get a SCRAM device within two days of his release from detention if and when that occurs.
