Romeoville Police and Service Dog Memorial to be Constructed

Will be Completed This Summer

To honor those that have proudly served the Village of Romeoville, the Village Board has approved construction of a police officer and service dog memorial. The monument will be built outside of the police station and include dedication pavers, honor panels with inscriptions, lighting, and landscaping.

It is the goal of Mayor Noak, the Village Board, the Chief of Police, and the village staff to provide a location for the community to pay their respects to those officers and service animals that have served and protected our community.

“We want the new police memorial to be an enduring tribute to the community's officers that have passed,” explained Mayor Noak. “This memorial pays homage to them and is an honor they deserve.”
