Romeoville Teen Selected to Play in Power Showcase
The Power Showcase in Miami will feature 170 of the world's best baseball players representing more than 20 countries.
A Romeovile High School freshman has been selected to play in the 10th Annual Power Showcase Future Stars Team.
Julio Cajigas, catcher and third baseman, will represent Illinois during the Home Run Derby that will feature some of the most prolific high school amateur prospects from around the country, according to a press release.
Julio is a member of the Spartans, coached by David Haskins and Fastball USA coached by Mike Ryan.

The 10th Annual Power Showcase is being held Dec. 28 through Jan. 2 at the Marlins Ball Park in Miami, Florida. The event will be streamed live on the Power Showcase channel.
